"Bophelo" means 'life' in Sepedi, one of South Africa's 11 official languages. The album was inspired by the challenges of rural life. Life can throw many challenges to us, yet we have to remember that we were given life to push it and take it as far as possible. The art of music creation is one aspect of life in which this is exemplified.
