UbuntuFM Soul is not just another internet radio station. We are here to bring you the true essence of Soul music - a genre that goes beyond melodies, rhythms, and lyrics. We bring you the full spectrum of what Soul music truly means - from its humble origins to the cutting-edge releases of today.

Lorraine Salvador’s ‘Trying’ captures her journey toward motherhood in chronological order, a story told through soul, jazz, and R&B. What began as a personal project, writing a song during each two-week wait, has evolved into a deeply intimate collection. ‘Trying’ is about hope, heartache, and healing.

Weaving together a unique combination of not only afrobeat, highlife and jazz, but also the ritualistic drumming of Ekombi, the result is urgent and highly energetic, yet spiritual.
