Cynthia Thijs Coenraad

About

In 2009, sultry voiced Dutch Indonesian born singer-songwriter Cynthia Thijs Coenraad (pronounced Cynthia “Tize” “Conrad”) was given words of musical encouragement from her sister Belinda, who passed away suddenly later that year. Honoring her sister’s gentle persuasion, Cynthia – who began writing songs at age 10 – is now a bona fide contemporary jazz composer and singer, dynamically blending pop, jazz, Brazilian/Latin music, along with soul and sassy big band swing. Testament to her prowess as a vocalist and multi-dimensional artist, she has the dynamic support of top genre musicians, including Paul Jackson, Jr., Tom Braxton, Randy Brecker, Allen Hinds, Richard Smith, Chieli Minucci, Dean Brown and the Snarky Puppy horn section!
