The Maiden and The Stones is a Celtic folk track, which follows the story of a group of beings each dreaming the life of something else . Asking the question,Is life but a dream? Or are our dreams lives in other dimensions or times? The story is cyclical, and each characters dream effects the others journey, asking whether we are experiencing a shared dream or whether we are characters in each others imagined realities? What is more real, life , or the lives we dream?

Shifting perspectives
'Old Oak' by Dawn Melanie is a song about shifting perspectives. It references the mythology of Odin and how, hung from his ankle for nine days and nights he gained wisdom. It speaks also of the journey of growing up, getting your heart broken, finding you know less than your youthful arrogance presumed and growing, ultimately, into who you should be through these trials.
The stories of our lives
Dawn Melanie is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Her music is an eclectic range of originals, with strong Celtic folk, African maskandi and folk influences. Late Nights is Dawn's new single telling a story in methaphor of the calling of the conscience, when late at night the mind goes wandering to forgotten pieces of who you were, to the things never done, the opportunities past and the things we regret.
